Effective ventilation is essential for storing potatoes, onions, carrots or flower bulbs. Drying crops efficiently and effectively requires the controlled inflow and outflow of humid air to create the right air mixture. During this process, you want technology that you can depend on - every time.
Ridder drive systems can also be used to open and close outflow flaps. During the first drying phase, the humid air is let out to dry the crop externally. These drive systems are often based on RW motor gearboxes combined with rack drives, where the rack is attached to the flap. As the rack moves, the flap is pushed out and opened.
Drying the crop internally requires the right air mixture. Humid air is introduced in a controlled manner, either manually or by a storage computer. This feeds the humid air into a pressure chamber and a mixing unit where the air is brought to the correct temperature and humidity level. The inflow flaps are driven by RW motor gearboxes combined with rack drives, where the rack is attached to the flap.
